Economy Affecting the CPA Advertisers

March 17th, 2009 | Posted in Make Money, Marketing

Recession is the only word that we all hear these days with any thing that we come around and internet is no less as this recession has also taken over the internet.

What are the Signs?
If you are an active Webmaster forum user or a Webmaster blog reader than you must have noticed that many people say their PPC earning is down. They are having less traffic or fewer clicks on their ads. Could you relate this to recession – I can say yes!

In some situation you can blame your PPC earning to recession. I have not yet thought any powerful way to beat this online recession.

Affecting Advertiser
Previous part was for publishers and their earnings getting affected but these days you must have seen in many CPA offers more and more advertisers accounts are getting disabled due to insufficient funds.

I am getting on an average of 10-emails every day that some advertiser has been disabled, out of 10 you can say some 2-3 advertisers are able to refill their accounts and their CPA offer is again activated.

So, with a raw stats at least 50-60% of CPA advertisers skip every day, this is a serious issue for all the webmasters and publishers who make their living out of CPA.

Conclude
No matter how quick they return to the online world but at least for now they are skipping CPA accounts and that also in a faster rate.

The only solution for you is to have a good contact or good business relation with the CPA advertiser for which you are marketing and are relying also.

CPA and Advertiser are Ripping Off Affiliates

February 26th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Program, Business, Make Money, Self Improvement

I have been hearing some strange and shocking news across the forms and among the affiliate community that most of the CPA networks are ripping them off. The claims are so heavy that I am really shocking to what is happening with CPA companies.

This is Happening
Just few days back somebody on webmaster forums wrote a thread about a CPA company I don’t want to mention the name because I first want to test myself that is it really happening, as the news are hovering all round.

The thread stated “I worked for a CPA company and I subscribed with an advertiser for getting leads for some loan product, the advertiser wanted to have the leads from US only. Therefore, I made a landing page and published my advertisement on Google adsense. Advertisement was targeted to US only, I ran the campaign for 18-20hrs and the result was fruitful, I got 20 leads and each lead gave me $25; so in all I generated an income of $500 with a Google adsense expense of under $200 not a bad deal.

Now, here comes the actual glitch. The advertiser was reversing my leads claiming that they were all invalid. I immediately contact the CPA Company with details and the same was informed to advertiser asking for clarification on the leader reversal. The answer is more shocking; advertiser said me that leads were reversed because all were generated from Nigeria, so, invalid leads.

As, I targeted my Google ads to US only then how can leads be generated from Nigeria? Strange, isn’t it! I emailed the same information with the screenshots and my logs of hits that I got during this period to CPA Company and advertiser but as it is always there is no reply. Depressing to me that after giving my all proofs advertiser reversed all the leads, that were generated.”

Affiliates Suffering
If this is the case CPA companies are doing with their affiliates via advertiser than its really depressing as person is loosing money on advertisement and hence not getting paid in the end.

This is only one instance that I have mentioned – believe me I have come across around 4 same kind of instances within a week and all were with same CPA company. I am now going to try myself same thing and if the same is the case. I will then write down the company name in bold letters.

If this is the case with you or with any of your friends or somebody you know just update the same here and let me know about it. As precaution is better than cure so why not get pre-cautioned with these ripping off nature of CPA and advertisers.
